Actor Chalapathi Rao is serving the Telugu cinema industry from the past 3 decades and has a background of acting as a villain in films, which had actor NTR and ANR in lead. Chalapathi Rao was born on May 8^th, 1944 and this 70 year old actor is a BSC graduate, who started his acting career with the movie “ Katha Nayakudu” in 1968. From then on he was seen in movies in villain characters and as support character artist roles. His father Mannayya and his mother Vijayamma had a dream to see their son opposite to ANR and late NTR and so actor chalapathi Rao, in order to full fill his parent’s dream, accepted villain characters in the movies, which featured NTR. He has a son named Ravi Babu, who is an actor and a director in Tollywood and long with him he has two daughters. Actor chalapati Rao is also a cinema producer, who produced 7 Telugu films and he and his son own an advertising agency in Chennai. Their Flying frogs banner owned by his 6 feet 4 inches tall son is well renowned in Telugu cinema.
